使用 Offline Gmail 已经有一段时间了，感觉不错，开启方法非常简单：直接到 Gmail 的 Labs 里开启即可。我在使用之前也看过一些关于无法修改路径的介绍，但为了离线使用，还是毅然开启了这个功能。

随着时间的积累，邮件及附件越来越多（我的一个gmail账号和一个Google Apps主力邮箱均使用了1.2GB左右），看着C盘的剩余空间越来越小，总觉得不爽。于是花了点儿时间找了一下究竟Google Gears把这些邮件和附件都放在哪里了？

通过访问Gears FAQ，找到了答案，——下面列出了几种操作系统和浏览器的组合，竟然没发现有Google自家的Chrome，不过，有了下面的介绍，也不难找到了咯，红色字体为我的补充！ 对于Vista系统，路径中Users就是用户，是你的用户名，下面bob是代替的示例。

由于我在使用Offline Gmail的过程中曾今发现我的一个账号以前明明全部同步过，后来又出现再次重头同步的问题。当时也没注意，今天来到这个目录才发现里面有三个子目录，分别是www.gmail.com、www.google.com、mail.google.com，根据日期删除了一个比较早的www.gmail.com（在今天我同时登陆过前面我说的我的两个账号，也都同步过，因此证明那个日期比较早的是以前多余同步的），为C盘释放了约1.5GB空间。

各位C盘不紧张的看官可以忽略，通过这次“小探索”，我觉得Gears第二次重头同步是由于邮箱访问的时候域名不同造成的。大家可以也找找看，欢迎讨论。

关于Foxmail6.5界面风格保存

Foxmail6.5较之前增加了界面风格调整的功能，哈哈，可以设置成与自己Windows桌面风格一致的草青色调了。

不过，经常出现重新启动后又恢复默认蓝色调的BUG。郁闷，真不知那帮人怎么测试的。网上寻了半天也没有好

的解决方法，打开Foxmail目录研究一下，发现\Skin子目录下有个Skin.ini，先设置成自己喜欢的风格，退出

Foxmail，然后将该文件属性设置为只读，再次打开，嘿嘿，悦目的草青色保留下来了。

保护视力最佳Windows外观：将窗口色调设为85，饱和度设为90，亮度设为205。


更正：设置只读后，资源管理器右键发送到Foxmail功能提示非法操作了，强烈鄙视Foxmail所犯低级错误。

Windows 7 丢图标的解决办法

图标缓存问题，Win7的小bug。这样操作就可以了：
打开计算机，找到左上角的“组织”，文件夹和搜索选项，在“查看”选项卡中，选中“显示所有隐藏文件和文件夹”，去掉“隐藏受保护的系统文件”前的对号。全部操作完成后可以改回来。找到C:\Users\你的用户名\AppData\Local，删除掉IconCache.db文件。

     如果刷新桌面依然不能恢复，在任务管理器下找到“进程”选项卡，结束explorer.exe进程，在文件-新建，输入explorer重建进程就可以了。刷新桌面，图标就正常了。

要是阁下有房子、位子、票子，则就可以在京城生活。
